In first EV report, IEA says electric vehicles will reach 145M by end of 2020s

The number of electric vehicles worldwide is expected to increase to 145 million by 2030, by which time they will account for 7% of all cars, vans, trucks and buses on the road, according to a report Thursday by the IEA.
