G20 leaders pledge to work toward zero carbon emissions by 2050

World leaders at the G20 summit in Rome have agreed Sunday to reduce warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, or 2.7 Fahrenheit, above pre-industrial levels, and attempts to reach net zero carbon emissions by around the middle century on Sunday.
